The Middle Examination : |
The Unique feature of the scheme of studies of Middle Examination is that it is flexible and students friendly. The Board Examination is Conducted for only six subjects. Seventh subject which provides options and eighth subject given in the scheme of studies are to be assessed internally at the school level . Semesterisation divides academic content between the two semesters., therefore it makes learning more convenient and examinations stress free. |
The Secondary Examination : |
The Scheme of studies of Secondary Examination also provides for additional subject in addition to the regular five subjects. The additional subject provides a large number of choices and the student can opt for one which suits him/her best. It is pertinent to mention here that final performance counts the best five subjects only. Reforms like Semesterisation, Grading and CCE (Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation) have enhanced the performance of the students and facilitated the quality of teaching and learning in the class room. |
The Senior Secondary Examination : |
The Scheme of studies of Senior Secondary Examination shows stream-wise comprehensive arrangement of subjects. A student can pick and choose a combination of subjects that will help pursuing the future area of study/work. Students of Science and Commerce stream have to study only one compulsory language and in place of another language can choose any subject offered under the stream of their choice. Thus it offers more flexibility in their choice of subjects. Semesterisation, Grading and CCE of course provide the students of this Board an edge over others. Whereas Semesterisation reduces the academic load, the Relative grading conveys the relative positions of students with reference to their peer group. Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation covers not only scholastic areas of students growth but also other aspects of growth like interests attitudes, personal and social qualities and proficiencies in co-curricular activities. These features indeed add quality to Sr. Secondary Examination of this Board. |
